Before I sling my review up of the Angel at Hetton, here’s one I recently did for Leeds Confidential.
Salt Tap is located in Candle House, down by the water, which means that if you get the train into Leeds you can swerve the main entrance (all that fuss over a refurb for that?) and use the South exit instead. I’ve never seen anyone else use it, so descending the escalator to the Dark Arches can feel thrillingly* secretive.
